Dr Lev Kapitaikin completed his D.Phil. titled 'The Twelfth-century Paintings of the Ceilings of the Cappella Palatina, Palermo' (Supervisor: Professor Johns) in 2011, and now works as a Lecturer in Islamic and Christian Medieval Art as part of the Art History Department, at Tel-Aviv University, Israel.
