Following her DPhil at the University of Oxford and Bahari fellowship at the Bodleian Library, former KRC student and research associate Cailah Jackson has been appointed Junior Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies. During her tenure, Cailah will complete her upcoming book, Islamic Manuscripts of Late Medieval Rūm, 1270s–1370s: Production, Patronage and the Arts of the Book (Edinburgh University Press) and undertake a new project about the arts of the book of Jalayirid western Persia.
