It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Lesley Forbes, former keeper of the Oriental Collections at the Bodleian Library. Lesley was a key member of the Book of Curiosities Project, which was one of the first major research projects that was housed in the newly founded Khalili Research Centre, and was also a most valued friend and colleague to many staff at the centre.
