Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott and I. M. Pei Graduate Scholarship in Islamic Art and Architecture

The Khalili Research Centre is offering jointly with Wolfson College a fully-funded graduate scholarship at the University of Oxford from the beginning of the academic year 2025–26. The scholarship will be awarded to a student applying for the MSt or MPhil in Islamic Art and Architecture (with an intention to progress to a DPhil) or directly for the DPhil in Asian & Middle Eastern Studies (Islamic Art and Architecture).

Applications are invited from suitably qualified students who are applying for admission to the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies in October 2025. The Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott & I. M. Pei Graduate Scholarship in Islamic Art and Architecture is awarded purely on the basis of academic merit and potential.

The Scholarship will cover the student’s full costs including University fees, College fees, and maintenance costs at the current UK Research Council rate. The successful student will become a member of Wolfson College for the whole duration of their studies at Oxford.

Applicants, whether internal or external, should apply to the University under the standard procedures for graduate degrees for the academic year 2025–26. The University’s application procedures are described at https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/graduate. Applications should be made on-line, before 7 January 2025.
