Symposia Iranica Awards 2019

The Khalili Research Centre is proud to announce that a number of our students, both past and present, had their academic work recognised as part of this year's Symposia Iranica awards.

Manual Giardino won the IB Tauris Prize for Best Paper in Late Antique History. His paper was ‘Medicine as an Example of Yuan-Ilkhanid Intellectual Exchange’. 

Cailah Jackson was awarded the Honourable Mention for the Brill Academic Publishers Best Paper in Art History. The title of her paper was 'An Illuminated Muzaffarid Manuscript in the Bodleian Library'.

Current KRC doctoral student Fuchsia Hart was awarded the Honourable Mention for the Brill Prize for the Best Paper in Architectural History. The title of her paper was ‘The Lustre Tile Revetment from the Shrine of Shaykh ‘Abd al-Samad, Natanz’.
