The KRC has been invited to take part in a Wikipedia Islamic art editing event to be organised jointly with the Khalili Foundation as part of the ongoing World Festival of Cultural Diversity.
The half-day edit-a-thon aims to improve the representation of Islamic art on Wikipedia, by expanding articles, adding citations, or creating new articles. It is part of a campaign to increase the cultural diversity of a platform whose coverage of art is overwhelmingly Western.
